Role Overview

This full-time locums role places you in a float pool across multiple high-acuity hospitals in San Francisco. You’ll manage a mix of inpatient and outpatient surgical cases, primarily general and regional anesthesia, supported by CRNAs and strong specialty services.

Clinical Scope

Coverage Model

Core Requirements

You’re a seasoned anesthesiologist comfortable in tertiary care environments, who wants fair compensation and honest communication from a team that actually practices medicine.

  • Board Certified in Anesthesiology (strong BE candidates considered)
  • Active California medical license
  • DEA with CA Schedule II authority
  • BLS (AHA) certification
  • Minimum 2 years of anesthesiology experience
  • Recent experience in tertiary care settings
  • Trauma experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable floating between multiple hospital sites
